As a result, 15 percent VAT, 1 percent surcharge, and 15 percent supplementary duty were imposed on mobile phone talk, text messaging, and other services. All in all, if you recharge 100 rupees now, the government gets 25 rupees. If the supplementary duty rate goes back to the previous place, the government will get 22 rupees.
